Commercial EV Charging Installation

We were delighted to deliver a commercial EV charging solution for our long-standing client at the Yeo Valley production site in Blagdon, supporting their continued commitment to sustainability and greener transport.

Project Overview

What We Delivered

• Installation of 3 x 22kW dual output pedestal charge points from Intelligent Charging Solutions (ICS), providing charging for up to six vehicles
  
• New 200A three-phase supply to a freestanding GRP cabinet
  
• Installation of a dedicated distribution board to supply the EV charging circuits
  
• Integrated surge protection for enhanced system safety
  
• Load management configuration, limiting each pedestal to 50A shared across two sockets to cap total demand at 150A

The Result

The site now benefits from a reliable, efficient EV charging infrastructure tailored to its operational needs. The project is being run as a trial to evaluate how electric vehicles can be deployed more widely through the business. Our installation provides ample capacity for the current electric fleet based at the site while ensuring the electrical system operates within the client’s specified limits.
